450 ml Vegetable broth, good quality

1 Salt and pepper
35 g Sesame seeds
1 tsp Turmeric
Oils & Vinegars
2 tbsp Sunflower oil
Nuts & Seeds
1 tsp Cumin, ground
35 g Sunflower seeds
Other
1 5 kg/ 3.3 lbs head of sauerkraut/fermented cabbage
200 g 7 oz/ 1 generous cup amaranth (or bulgur, millet, couscous – see note)
